I am Richmond Agamelah, a creative contemporary artist from Accra, Ghana.

A student of Ghanatta College Of Art & Design with a diploma in Art, I use my art to celebrate my identity and present new ways to approach blackness. My portraits captivate with serene poses
and the captivating gaze of my characters.

I use excess parts of the sim card to paint my portraits of black men and women against a plain and sometimes multi-colored background. This evolved into a unique energetic expressive rendition of portraits in oil and
acrylic on canvas.
