I paint in oils on canvas. I have been doing this for the past thirty years, twenty of which have been
on full time basis. My art has been a constant search into new territories charted neither by myself
nor any other. In other words, every work of art that bears my signature must at least show signs of
effort towards originality. Colour and the need for it to be kept pure and well represented, is one of
the most essential requirements in my work. Though the other elements of art are important to me,
colour is of topmost essence. I have shown my work in various places around the world including
Russia. The most notable shows I have had were however in Ghana, with groups such as The Studio
Club and Practicing Artists International (Paint).

My latest exhibition was a one-man show in November 2016 in my home. This was an experiment
to find out the possibility of showing my art to family, friends and clients in a home environment
with the sale aspect of things removed. The result was a pleasant eye-opener that has helped
tremendously to inform me on what art truly represents to me.
