Godwin Adjei Sowah [signs Adjei] aged 41, graduated from the Ghanatta College School of Art and Design in 1997.
His favorite subjects are city scenes but he focuses on women as models ; fashion models, street hawkers or just for their beauty. He explains that he owes this to the many women who nurtured him from childhood.

He teaches street children in Cape Coast once a week and regards this as a small
contribution to their future.

Adjei has his own gallery in Adabraka and has held various exhibitions locally and
internationally.
